Ríona's background in dance started with the ballet lessons she took every week after school - before discovering contemporary, and going on to take A-Level Dance and loving it. She went on to study a BA Hons in Dance at De Montfort University, after which she became a Primary School Teacher and included as much dance as possible in her teaching! Ríona is passionate about making dance accessible for all, telling stories through dance and using dance as an outlet for expression.
