NDTA Honorary Member Awarded USA National Dance Education Organization OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AWARD for 2011

NDTA Honorary Member Jacqueline Smith-Autard has been awarded the USA National Dance Education Organization OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AWARD for 2011! The notification states: 'This honor recognizes your ongoing commitment to advancing the field of dance education nationally and internationally' Jackie will be receiving it at the 2011 NDEO Conference in Minneapolis, MN in October where she will also be presenting a three hour workshop in which she deconstructs two of her resources in order to demonstrate how teachers could author their own technology resources.She anticipates that some will go on to design and write resources for the US market and wish that the same could happen in the UK! Before I completely retire, I am really keen to pass on the knowledge and expertise I have gained by working in this area over the past 20 years.
Jackie has also been invited to host a session at the NDTA annual conference and AGM on the 11th and 12th November at the Royal Opera House in London.
