National Dance Teachers Association is looking for a Treasurer to join their Board of Directors

Monday 6th June

The National Dance Teachers Association (NDTA) is the leading subject association for dance in schools. They are a membership organisation and charity set up by teachers for teachers and work to ensure that all young people in the UK have equal access to a high quality dance education. NDTA actively work with a range of physical education and arts organisations, government departments and statutory bodies to promote high quality learning and teaching in dance and help to shape national policy related to dance in schools.

NDTA has been recently re-structured and the previous large working group and Executive Committee have been streamlined to a Board of Directors to reflect the changes to the charity including the 3 part-time staff that are now in post.

NDTA are looking for a volunteer to join the organisation’s Board of Directors as Treasurer and therefore, invite expressions of interest from anyone who is has some form of Financial / HR experience.

Board of Director Meetings happen quarterly at the Birmingham Hippodrome and travel expenses will be covered.

To express your interest please contact Julia Williams, NDTA Director via email.
