Dance Links - Dance Activity Programme

Dance Links: Dance Activity Programme aims to increase the opportunities for young people aged 11 – 16 years to participate in high quality dance opportunities within and outside of the school day, especially for girls and young women.  One of the main barriers to this is the lack of dance specialists available to schools. Dance Links provides training for out of school dance providers to equip them to work with schools and networking events to bring schools together with dance providers.

Funding is available in the nine English regions to support new dance projects where there is limited provision for young people. For more information, contact the Youth Dance Strategy Manager in your region.
