An absolute must for those needing advice on getting GCSE dance up and running, This course will build your confidence to teach GCSE dance. Equally suitable for teachers with little or no experience of teaching GCSE dance and those wishing to improve their skills, this course will prepare you for teaching the new GCSE dance specification (as from September 2009). It will provide you with an understanding of the subject content and expectations for GCSE dance and basic knowledge and tools for planning, teaching and assessment. Practical workshops will focus on performance, composition and appreciation in relation to selected professional works from those prescribed in the GCSE specification.

This course can be accessed individually but can also be treated as a package with GCSE Dance – The Prescribed Professional Works developing from New to GCSE Dance.
