CPD & Events - GCSE Dance - The Prescribed Professional Works - Loughborough

This course will build on and complement New to GCSE Dance. It will introduce the prescribed professional works for the new GCSE dance specification (as from September 2009). Selected works, particularly those that are less familiar such as Rosas, Perfect, Faultline, Overdrive and Dance Tek Warriors, will be used practically to develop performance and composition tasks to support Unit 3 – Performance in a duo/group and Unit 4 Solo composition. Teachers will also gain understanding of how to use and teach choreographic approaches and devices.

This course can be accessed individually but can also be treated as a package with GCSE Dance – The Prescribed Professional Works developing from New to GCSE Dance.
