CPD & Events - Annual Conference & AGM 2009 - Inspire to Aspire

Saturday 21st November 2009

Elmhurst School for Dance, Birmingham

A conference for everyone involved in delivering dance in schools and colleges.

A full-day programme of workshops and discussion, networking opportunities and a marketplace. Be inspired by some of the UK’s leading dance practitioners and return refreshed with ideas to motivate your students.

The conference will provide you with the practical tools, resources and ideas to:

  • develop a high quality dance curriculum across all phases
  • raise the profile of dance within the curriculum and beyond the school day
  • explore dance as a medium for creative learning across the curriculum and as an artform
  • inspire young people to engage with a range of dance styles and activities

For 2009, our conference returns to the beautiful surroundings of Elmhurst School for Dance, just 10 minutes from Birmingham city centre.
